The best material for production of plywood is wood of silver (Betula pendula) and downy (Betula pubescens) birch types. These two species are mainly growing in Russia, but can be also found in smaller quantities in Baltic states and Scandinavian countries. Therefrom the best birch plywood is made - it has fewer knots and the annual rings are thinner. Finished veneer has fewer defects.

Birch plywood is stronger than coniferous plywood, which is the main reason it is used in the construction industry.
Other reasons of high demand:

high load capacity (2 times higher than that of pine plywood sheets)

birch plywood structures are suitable for use in any climate conditions

exceptional resistance to sudden temperature changes (withstands critically low temperatures without consequences)

This is special laminated and reusable plywood, provides the high quality of monolithic surfaces. It is used in vertical and horizontal formwork.

Birch plywood is in high demand in monolithic constructions, suitable for cladding walls, ceilings, and as a base sheet for floor coverings. Due to the beautiful texture of birch wood, plywood sheets are used for interior decoration.

This type of plywood is intended to be used at machinery manufacturing. The main application field is covering the ceilings, walls and floors. Trailers and refrigerators are finished with laminated birch plywood with a mesh coating, which is non-slipping and highly resistant to moisture. Can be also used for floors covering at warehouses, loading platforms and scaffolds.

This plywood is used for various purposes, for example for making furniture. The material is relatively inexpensive, lightweight and therefore well suited for this task. Plywood is also used for laying floors for leveling purposes. Can also be used for finishing ceilings and walls.
